FORT KNOX, Ky. – Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Willie C. Tennant Sr., a native of Pleasantville, New Jersey, and 34-year U.S. Army veteran, was inducted into the U.S. Army’s Quartermaster Corps Hall of Fame during a ceremony June 17 at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, capping a career of significant achievements.
FORT KNOX, Ky. – The remains of U.S. Army Pvt. Charles W. Smalley, 19, a Soldier killed in action during World War II, will be interred Jun. 21 at Chesterton Cemetery, Chesterton, Indiana. White-Love Funeral Home will perform graveside services preceding the interment.
FORT KNOX, Ky. – The remains of U.S. Army Sgt. Orace J. Mestas, 22, a Soldier killed during the Korean War, will be interred Jun 20 at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery. Mullare-Murphy Funeral Home will perform graveside services preceding the interment.
FORT KNOX, Ky. – The remains of U.S. Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. Felix J. Shostak, a Soldier killed in action during World War II, will be interred Jun. 14 at Saint Dominic Cemetery, Proctor, Vermont. Clifford Funeral Home will perform graveside services preceding the interment.
FORT KNOX, Ky. – The remains of Army Cpl. Albert J. Estrada, a Soldier killed during the Korean War, will be interred Jun. 18 at Calvary Cemetery & Funeral Center, Woodland, California. Graveside services will precede the interment.
The remains of U.S. Army Pvt. James C. Loyd, a Soldier missing in action during World War II, will be interred May 15 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
The remains of U.S. Army Pfc. Kenneth D. Burgess, a Soldier missing in action during World War II, will be interred May 7 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Central City, Kentucky.
